What does Rikki's service consist of?
Rikki's service has two components: the payment ring and the technology for linking the bank card to the ring.
a) the link:
Linking consists of creating and then recording an identifier ( token ) on the ring. This token uniquely represents the linked card and the device used and allows Visa or MasterCard to identify the user's card without the need to transport sensitive data through payment processing circuits.
This process, called card tokenization, offers greater security to the user and eliminates the risk of having their card cloned (copied). Thanks to agreements with Visa and MasterCard, Rikki can offer this service to its customers.
b) the ring
On the other hand, the Rikki ring contains a banking security chip, also certified by Visa and MasterCard, which is specially designed to manage the payment token of bank cards.
The ring uses NFC technology to connect to dataphones, but this technology is only one form of communication, such as Bluetooth, Wi-Fi, 5G, etc. The important thing is not that it has NFC, but that it has a special chip , that this chip is certified and that Rikki has the agreements and technology that allow the Rikki ring to function and be accepted worldwide.
Is the Rikki ring safe?
Paying with your Rikki ring is safer than paying with a bank card because your details are never exposed. Your identity cannot be hacked because the chip does not store any of this data, but contains a token that is only readable by Visa and MasterCard.
What happens if it gets stolen?
If you lose the ring, you can disconnect it from the Rikki app with just one click.
The Rikki app offers you the following security features:
- Ability to temporarily lock and unlock your ring, anytime, anywhere.
- Total blocking of the ring in case of loss or theft, so that no one, except you, can use the ring, or reset it to record their card inside.
Can I use it if I am an iOS user?
Yes you can.
To pay with the ring you don't need to have a phone nearby.
The phone is only needed for setting up the ring and the Rikki app is available for both iOS and Android.
Only the Black Moon model is not compatible with the iOS app.
Do I need my cell phone to pay?
No, you don't need your mobile phone to pay. You can go to the beach, swim and then have a drink at the beach bar, just by carrying your ring with you.
Can 'accidental' payments be made?
No, they can't be done.
To make a payment, you have to touch the dataphone in the NFC area and hold it there for 1-2 seconds until you hear the device beep.
Only if you work with a dataphone on a daily basis should you be careful, but in this case you can pause ring payments while you work so that reading is not allowed.
Do I have to be a resident of the European Community?
Due to the limitations of banking licenses, you can use our service only if you are a national or resident of an EC country.
Yes, you can use the ring to pay anywhere in the world.
Can I wear the ring abroad?
Absolutely! You can pay with your Rikki anywhere in the world that accepts Visa and MasterCard contactless payments.
Are there any payment fees or maintenance fees?
No, the ring is paid for once and there are no additional costs.
Can I use Rikki if I am a minor?
To use Rikki you must have a bank card. If you are a minor, you can ask your parents or legal guardian to open a Revolut Junior account for you using a Visa card.
How do I link my card to the ring?
The card is linked to the ring through the Rikki app.

Can I use any bank card?
You can link most bank cards from the European Union to the ring. The only exceptions are the cards from the banks EVO Banco, Abanca and Openbank. The AQUA card from BBVA also does not work, but the rest of the cards from this bank do. Check this link to understand how to link your card to the ring.

Extra-EU Europe
- DHL: 2 to 4 business days, not taking into account the period during which the package remains held in Customs
- Shipping cost: €10
- Customs costs and taxes are the responsibility of the customer (VAT is deducted from the price of the ring).

- Warning: The ring cannot be programmed for users who are not residents of any country in the European Union.
Shipment tracking
Rings can be sent by Certified Mail or DHL, depending on the customer's choice. We send the package tracking code by email once the order has been created.
After sales
Can I change the size after purchasing the ring?
Yes, you can change it within 14 days of delivery as long as you have not associated it with a user account . Remember that it is a payment method and for your security we cannot change it once you have associated it with your account.

Do you have any help setting up Rikki?
Yes. When we send you the ring, we will provide you with a step-by-step guide to configure it yourself.
Also, remember that you have an after-sales service available to answer any questions you may have.
Do you provide after-sales support?
Of course. You can ask us any questions you may have during the ring setup or when you wear it.
It is best to use our WhatsApp and we will answer you immediately. Our hours are from 9:00 am to 8:00 pm, Monday through Friday.

What is the warranty on the ring?
Rikki guarantees the ring's functionality for the first 3 years from the date of purchase. The guarantee covers factory defects , but does not cover damage caused by wear, breakage or improper use of the ring.
Withdrawal
Rikki offers a 14-day cancellation period after receiving the ring.
The ring can be returned only if it has not been linked to any card and if it is in perfect condition.
If you wish to return the ring within this period, you must do so by handing over the ring and the wooden jewelry box in perfect condition (without any breaks or scratches).
Return shipping costs are the responsibility of the customer.
