What is Rikki?

Do I need my phone to pay with Rikki?

How exactly do I pay?
Close your fist and bring your knuckles to the terminal's contactless area, slowly, as if gently knocking on a door. Hold the ring still for 2-3 seconds until you hear the beep or see the confirmation. Pulling away too soon is the most common cause of failure.
Is it safe? What if I lose it or it is stolen?
The chip is certified by Visa and Mastercard and each payment uses an encrypted one-time token, so your real card details are never transmitted. If you lose it, you can pause it from the app (reversible) or block it permanently with "Report lost or stolen ring", without cancelling your card. Above €50 the terminal asks for your PIN.
